of your private and confidential information.
The only way we will ever release your name and
private, confidential information to a lender
is if you 1) Know exactly who the lender is. 2)
You know exactly what the lender is proposing
in terms of rate, fees and loan programs. 3) You
give us express permission, either verbally or
in writing, to raise the curtain and deliver your
name and information (your application information)
to that lender for the purpose of underwriting
your loan (either through automated underwriting
or manual underwriting). With Mortgage
Grader®, mortgage
counseling and arranging loans is all we do. Your
name and information will never be sold by Mortgage
Grader®
for any purpose.
Applicable state and federal laws
require Mortgage Grader®
to keep a copy of your private and confidential
loan application information for specific time
periods.
Any lender(s) that you direct us
to submit your loan to must also keep copies of
your confidential loan application information
for specific time periods per applicable state
and federal laws.
Every lender in the Mortgage
Grader® network
has its own privacy policy. At your request, we
can make that available to you prior to loan submission.
The Patriot Act, other applicable
laws, state or federal regulators or a court of
competent jurisdiction could also compel Mortgage
Grader® to release
confidential loan application
information that we possess.
